2011 ACHIEVEMENTS
March 2011
New Entry Door Courtesy of Home Depot
Thanks to the generous guys (L-R Jim Uciechowski, Jim Herring, Dan Brumbaugh),
Home Depot Monticello and the help of shelter volunteer Jodi Kane, a new front all-
season entry door was installed this March. In the last 12 months, we have
upgraded the shelter roofing and insulation, windows and front door to improve
warmth and effeciency in the cold winter months. Thanks to everyone that donated
their time, products, services and money to help us complete these much needed

2011 ACHIEVEMENTS
- 576 dogs and 90+ cat adoptions
- New roof/shelter frame over dog play park
- Chrysler mini-van purchase with cooperation of Robert Green Chevrolet
- Replacement of 13 windows in dog kennel area and 2 bay windows in office
and front hallway - Roof shingles replaced and improved ceiling/rafter insulation
- Three 12x12 concrete pads poured for 3 additional 10x10 dog enclosure
- Replacement chain link enclosure for five 10x10 dog kennels
- New billboard on RT 17
- NEW cat adoption room is now free roaming cat room with access to outside
- New ceiling mounted heaters in dog kennels courtesy CES
- New paint in front/office and more for the kennels on the way
- Another big change is that ALL our animals are adopted spayed or neutered,
even the puppies and kittens
